William Young, Owner and Memory Care Specialist at Forever Young Memory Care began his journey to build the perfect home where seniors with dementia and Alzheimer’s can live purposeful lives in an environment designed to enhance their quality of life in every way. William’s vision started over 18 years ago, and was inspired by his personal experience with his Grandma Bernice.
When William’s grandma needed care, he was committed to finding his Grandma the level of care she deserved, however, he was consistently disappointed with the 3 facilities she lived in. He wanted nothing more than to know she was safe, loved and cared for with respect and dignity. Unfortunately, Bernice never found the community that would provide the care William had envisioned; however, this experience marked the beginning of him realizing his passion to help people with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
With the support of his wife Julie, family and friends, William decided to leave the corporate world to pursue his dream to create the community he wished his grandma could have lived in. While this hasn’t come without personal sacrifices, he is driven to provide the highest level of care and support families through this journey at Forever Young Memory Care.
William obtained his administrator’s license for Residential Care Facilities for the Elderly (RCFE) in 2009. Since then he has held a number of management positions across the industry, always specializing in dementia and Alzheimer’s. From his personal and professional experience, William has designed every aspect of this custom home with his residents needs in mind. He is committed to ensuring that the people that join his community become family and that the home is filled with passion, purpose, and love.
Dr. Geiss is the founder and CEO of Geiss MED, which has as its mission and purpose to improve senior healthcare by bringing the doctor’s office to them. This approach keeps seniors as healthy as possible and at home, so they only go to the hospital or emergency room when they really need to. This improves the quality of their care, and even lowers their healthcare cost.

William, we would like to thank you so much for all of your words of encouragement and experiences that you shared with us. During a very difficult time you helped us to make the best choices to care for our mother. You answered all of our questions and some we didn’t know we should ask. We are so grateful for your kindness and continued friendship. Your passion for elder care and their families is so important, thank you. Very truly yours.

I wanted to thank you for your incredible patience and kindness, and the knowledge you provided me while going through the difficult process of moving my dad to a memory care facility. The compassion you showed my father was so nice to see and put my mind at ease, and the many times you went out of your way to check on him and let me know how he was doing were greatly appreciated. On more than one occasion your words of advice and encouragement got me through another tough day. Thank you for being there to answer my questions and offer advice as I made this very complicated decision. It was nice to know there was someone I could lean on who understood what I was going through and had the knowledge to help me navigate the way. You made a difference for not only my father, but me as well.
My Dad lived at Forever Young and it was a great experience for both him and our family. William and all of the caregivers truly cared about his well being and always welcomed any and all visitors. Their care for my Dad was a great relief to us all and gave us peace of mind that he was getting the care he needed. When I was researching board and care homes for my Dad it seemed like the others were clean but were not designed to provide much stimulation to the residents. Many just had recliners lined up in front of the television which I believe was the “entertainment” for the day. At Forever Young, William goes to great lengths to provide other stimulation with music playing, a large bird cage which my Dad enjoyed watching regularly, a beautiful backyard and so much more. While the cost is higher than the other homes, our entire family felt it was a great value because the team William has is the best I have seen. If you are thinking about having a loved one stay at Forever Young, I would highly recommend it.
I first contacted William Young two years ago when my 79 year old mother was experiencing memory loss. He spent a lot of time educating me about dementia and living options. It was clear how passionate he is about this subject. He said my mom wasn’t ready for his house, but gave me a lot of tips on how to choose an assisted living facility. We kept in touch and he was always willing to answer questions and help guide me through this world that was so foreign to me. I really appreciated the time he spent with me, particularly since he asked for nothing in return and didn’t try to push me towards a certain facility.
In September of 2018, it became clear my mom needed more care than was being provided. I called Wiliam and decided to move her to Forever Young. She was adamant that she didn’t want to move, so William came up with a plan to make the move as stress-free as possible for mom and me (since I was so anxious about going against my mom’s wishes). He visited with her, hosted us on a visit to Forever Young, and called me daily to make sure I was okay. He truly went above and beyond and I’m extremely grateful. After only 3 days at Forever Young, my mom said she never wanted to leave. I was amazed!
The house is beautiful and the backyard is so serene. The caregivers are wonderful, caring people who seem to truly bond with the residents. They often send me pictures and videos of my mom so I can see how she’s doing. After watching my mom at two different assisted living communities, I believe we’ve now found her “Forever Home” at Forever Young. I can’t recommend William and this house highly enough.
